Complementary health insurance is generally aimed at people who are eligible under Türkiye’s social security system (SGK). It is meant to help with healthcare costs defined in the policy, considered together with that system.
Which expense is included depends on the plan. Inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, tests or maternity cover do not always arrive together. Eligibility is also checked at application.
